This yellow house

I figured it's time to write a blog about our renovation journey. We've been working on our house for two years now and thoguht it'd be fun to look back and see where we've startd. Plus - This blog will probably provide a lot of good resources for you new homeowners.

Our home is on the most desired street in Rochester because we live on the border of Brighton and Rochester. We have Brighton's amenties but with Rochester tax ( about 1000-2000 cheaper than Brighton) . The price was a steal because well, the house needed a lot of work inside.

We bought it in Oct 2006 and it looked like this ....






Then in spring 2008 - we had it painted in Benjamin Moore "pear tree" and had new roof installed.... I cannot stress how important it is to find a good roofer - ours, well it's a long story not worth mentioning:)
